Skriv
Norwegian for “write”
Markdown notes, kept as Markdown.
Skriv is a calm, three-pane notes app. Tags live in the text, links go between notes, and every note is a plain .md file you can open with anything — today, or in twenty years.

What it does
Tags in the text
Write #tag anywhere. Tags nest into a tree, and renaming one rewrites every note.
Styled as you type
Markdown formats as you write and hides its markup away from the cursor.
Todos and views
Todos, plus Today, Untagged, Archive and Trash.
Linked thinking
[[Note links]] between notes, and search operators like @todo, #tag and "exact phrases".
Slash menu
Type / for headings, lists, tables, images and more.
Tables that stay Markdown
A real table editor that saves plain GFM — and accepts a paste from Numbers or Excel.
Images
Paste images straight into a note.
Plain files
Every note is a .md file on disk. No lock-in, ever.
Instead of Bear, Apple Notes, Obsidian — and the subscription that comes with them.
€79, once.
A Skriv licence for life, on all your Macs. 14-day money-back.
